This blog’s purpose is to provide information about deaf technology, assistive technology, and tech-related accessibility issues faced by the deaf and hard of hearing. I enjoy writing this blog very much, but I do not get paid to write this, and I make no money off of this blog. I am also not a reference librarian, a help desk support person, or a store clerk. Research a product for you. If I haven’t reviewed it here already, please do your own research using the Internet or your local library. You may ask me to review a particular product sometime in the future – I will be happy to add it to my list, and if I find it a good fit for this blog, I will post about it at my convenience.
Help you find where you can purchase a product or find the best price. Please use Google for this.
Ask me to purchase a product for you or send you a product. I am not a storefront or a personal shopper.
Ask me why a product you purchased has not arrived yet, how to turn it on, where to send it to have it fixed if it breaks, or whether I can call the company for you and ask questions on your behalf. For these queries, please contact the company that you purchased the product from directly. Most companies have helpful tech support people that they pay to be available to do these things.
Ask me how to find a sign language interpreter, or any interpreter of any kind, or to set you up with one. I am not an interpreter agency, nor am I a Disability Services office.
